Adults

With weekly groups, events and so much more, Goblets & Goblins Gathering Halls provide the easiest way to make real friends as an adult — without awkward small talk or forced activities. Bring a friend, join a group with a colleague, there are so many ways to enjoy our experiences.

All adult D&D games run in dedicated private rooms, not random tables in a store. Experience the true immersion and quality that differentiate Goblets & Goblins groups from all others, for only $25 per night.

Instead of joining another activity that has no real opportunity for conversation, D&D is the perfect starting point for friendships. Solve problems together, as a group, as you go on an adventure and create lasting bonds. Become a part of something bigger, that is actually fun, and runs consistently.

Tyrnan - Newmarket

I've been a professional actor (ACTRA Toronto), with extensive training in live theater, for most of my life. I've been a gamer almost as long, and a DM for the last eight years. I bring an enthusiasm to the worlds and characters I create. I craft stories alongside my players, and rich worlds where they can take part in courtly intrigue, epic battles (both famous and forgotten), save kingdoms, topple empires, or win a pie eating contest in the village of Bristol. But a story is only as good as the characters that drive it, and as my players interact with kings, both honourable and corrupt, make deals with witches mischievous and mysterious, they too will embody characters striving to change the world around them: perhaps as a brave Kobold paladin fighting to uphold justice or mete out revenge, or as a wise and majestic half orc wizard seeking to understand the greater mysteries of the universe. I enjoy building a space where it is safe to be silly, and to look silly, and to feel brave, as my players fearlessly become these characters. Together we'll do what humans have been doing since we first sat around bonfires in the dark of caves... we'll tell stories.

With a background in acting and teaching, I took too TTRPG’s in late 2023 and finally ran my own one shot a year later. Subsequently that one-shot was then turned into a full campaign that is running still to this day. I’m an avid gamer and consumer of stories. From niche anime, popular cartoons to obscure short stories- all of this brings life, enthusiasm and creativity to the worlds I built, the NPC’s I play and the games I run. My goal is to be able to create a world and a game that my players have crafted alongside me. A world for my players to explore not only as their character but as themselves. From discovering why a floating city has declared themselves as the rulers of the continent, to the monstrous purple worms that call the battle-hardened deserts of the orc’s home. To a simple story about how acquiring the deed to a bakery will finally make your town whole again. Stories can be grand and I strive to get my players to ask questions about the world they could be inhabiting. At my table, I try to create a space that brings us into the moment and lets us all hangout together and at the end of the day- play a game. A fun environment where my players can do what we all want to do in the end- go on an adventure.

I’ve been a forever DM since 2022 and have been playing video games, especially RPGs, since I was about eight years old. I blend my passion for storytelling with good music and sound design to create immersive tabletop roleplaying experiences. My sessions focus on collaborative worldbuilding, inclusivity, and player agency. I’m all about creating living worlds where heroes rise, choices matter, and every roll shapes the story we tell together. As an educator, I’ve brought tabletop roleplaying into the classroom to support math, literacy, and social skills, inspiring students to learn through creativity and play. I also run afterschool programs and community games through Roll with Guidance, a branch of my work dedicated to learning, healing, and growth through TTRPGs. Whether guiding new adventurers or seasoned heroes, my goal as a DM is to create immersive, inclusive worlds where every player feels part of something epic.

As a seasoned Dungeon Master with over 6 years of DMing experience, I've dedicated my passion to crafting immersive and unforgettable D&D adventures. Since my introduction to the game in 2006, I've been captivated by its ability to foster creativity, teamwork and enduring friendships. I thrive on the thrill of witnessing a players' imaginations take flight as they navigate challenging dungeons, overcome formidable foes and roleplay their way through social encounters. My goal is to create a safe and inclusive space where players can escape the ordinary and embark on extraordinary journeys together.

Stuart - Owen sound

I started playing Dungeons and Dragons back in 2018 and quickly developed a love for the game. This has led me to playing in and running multiple campaigns and one-shots since then, including the campaign I started playing in which is still ongoing today! D&D has allowed me to play with a diverse range of players from all over the world and showed me first hand its possibilities for encouraging creativity, collaboration and building friendships through shared memorable experiences, it’s even how I met my Fiancée! I strive to create games where the players come away feeling that they had a fun time, whether it be through exciting combats or tricky puzzles, or fun characters that they can interact with. D&D has been a major part of my life for the better part of a decade, and I am very passionate about sharing this game with new players and having more opportunities to tell fun stories, with a few silly voices included too! In my free time when I’m not playing in or running my own games of D&D I like to play board games and watch movies with my friends.

Kory - waterloo

As a lover of fantasy and role-playing games, Kory loves engaging players and bringing fun characters, complete with voices, to life. He has been playing Dungeons & Dragons for over 10 years starting with 3.5e. When he isn't DMing, Kory only plays as a Paladin, and in his campaigns the good guys win and the bad guys lose. He lives in Kitchener with his wife Emily and his three cats Kiki, Jiji, and Calcifer.

James - Owen Sound

James is a local singer/songwriter, a bard by any other name. From the days of highschool, where he could be found playing old sci-fi table top role playing games during lunch period, to the last free weekend he had, James loves little more than eating cheese and crackers with his friends whilst engaging in Group Improvised Narrative Therapy. When not spinning a yarn with friends while rolling dice or hanging out with his kids, James can often be found trying to make the world a better place, either through song or through action.

When I first jumped into D&D as a player, it was with a bunch of complete strangers. Over countless sessions full of dangerous quests and heartfelt RP, these strangers have become my inseparable friends. As a dedicated STEM educator and fantasy enthusiast, I adore the collaborative storytelling, imaginative problem-solving, and roleplaying moments that D&D makes room for. I've been lucky enough to be a part of multiple long running campaigns with many creative and passionate individuals for the past several years, and by DMing, I aspire to share these experiences with new and old players alike! Everyone should have the chance to experience the same joy of finding new friends to embark on magical adventures with. Outside of DMing, you can find me trying my best to be a real-life Artificer, as I add to my long list of crafty hobbies by leatherworking, sewing, drawing, and crocheting my way through various projects! I’m always more than happy to talk about my D&D campaigns, show off my ever-growing dice collection, or share my latest crafty creation!

Hanna (3).jpg

Hanah - Orangeville

As a former (and forever) theatre kid I’ve always loved a good story and compelling characters, and let’s be honesty I’m here for the drama of it all too. Since 2018 I’ve been an off and on player in a few DnD games and have been DMing a long running campaign for just over a year now. When I first found the wonderful world of table top role play games I didn’t have anyone else In my life to share it with. Finding a group of equally dramatic and lively individuals was and still can be difficult, that’s why I think having a space designated to fostering that creativity is so important. As a DM I strive to provide that fantastical experience I longed for as a kid. Dnd and other ttrpgs are one of the few ways you can really immerse yourself in an epic quest where your decisions actually change the trajectory of the story, and I mean everyone’s decisions. DMing for me isn’t just about guiding players through a whimsical world but it’s also (and most importantly) about creating a tale together. A legend that you will all continue to tell years later when you recall the adventures and misadventures you went on with friends.

Victor - Guelph

"When my friends introduced me to D&D way back in sophomore year in 2015, I was absolutely enamoured from the get-go. I've always loved writing, and writing for improv storytelling seemed like just the kind of challenge I would adore. Imagine getting to see your heroes reacting in real time! Affecting your world and stories in ways you could never have thought of yourself! I started running D&D games for friends and playing in them as often as I could. Sometimes with 5-6 active games at a time. I like taking my players everywhere -- from dragon's lairs to infinity malls to the roaring 20s and all the way back to that warm little tavern of our collective dreams. I love a roleplay-heavy game. I'm big on doing voices and character interaction, and as a DM, my favourite thing in the world is watching the moment where the D&D 'clicks' with a new player. D&D is also one of the best collaborative storytelling tools out there. 'Never split the party' is an age-old guideline among players, but I find it kind of poignant too. It's a game where you can't go it alone. Working together and keeping your companions in mind is integral to the game itself. And what isn't there to love about a game with friendship as a core value? Especially, of course -- when the other core value is kicking BUTT."

Dungeons & Dragons is more than a game to me—it’s a canvas for creativity, a call to adventure, and a powerful tool for storytelling. I love stepping into the shoes of unique characters, making choices that shape entire worlds, and weaving narratives that evolve with every roll of the dice. Whether you’re weaving intricate stories as a Dungeon Master or embodying a fearless hero, every session is a chance to explore new worlds, forge epic friendships, and unleash boundless imagination. the magic lies in the stories we create together—the victories, the heartbreaks, and the unexpected twists that make every session unforgettable. Storytelling is at the heart of D&D, turning simple mechanics into epic sagas filled with emotion, heroism, and discovery. It allows me to explore complex themes, build deep connections, and immerse myself in limitless possibilities. D&D is unique for its collaborative storytelling, where imagination takes the lead and anything can happen. D&D isn’t just a hobby—it’s a creative outlet and a lifelong love for the power of narrative and how we each can control ours.
