Service Description
Shadowdark is a fast-paced fantasy tabletop role-playing game that combines classic dungeon crawling with simple, easy-to-learn rules. Players create characters quickly, explore dangerous ruins, search for treasure, encounter strange creatures, and work together to survive whatever waits in the dark. One of Shadowdark’s most exciting features is that darkness actually matters. Characters cannot see in complete darkness, so torches and lanterns are essential. When a torch is lit, a real-world timer begins — and when the timer runs out, so does the light! Magic is unpredictable, adventures move quickly, and creative problem-solving is often just as important as combat. For younger players, our Dungeon Masters can adjust the tone to keep the game fun, age appropriate, and focused on teamwork, exploration, and adventure. No experience required. New players are welcome! Please note: This program has a very low ratio of 6 participants to each dungeon master. Children may bring a school-safe, nut-free snack if needed. A refillable water bottle is also recommended.
