Moving to a new location is always a big step, especially when it means joining a vibrant community and welcoming new faces. We are thrilled to announce that our move from Kitchener to a fresh, inviting space in Waterloo is complete. This coming week, the doors will open to a place designed with care and enthusiasm, ready to delight our customers and neighbours. The journey has been rewarding, and we can’t wait to share this new chapter with everyone.
A New Home That Reflects Our Values
Our new location in Waterloo is more than just a change of address. It represents our commitment to community, connection, and creating a welcoming environment for everyone who walks through our doors. The space has been thoughtfully designed to feel open and inviting. Our move allowed for a space that is ground floor with ample parking. No more food trucks taking our parking spaces.... As as father myself, I can appreciate when a space is inviting and you can just know that your child will be welcomed and feel safe. I had that impression the moment I first walked into the space, and the feeling is even greater now that it is nearly finished being set up.

What Customers Can Expect in Our New Space
Our customers will notice several exciting changes and improvements that enhance their experience:
More room to explore: The new layout offers extra space to enjoy without feeling crowded.
Community events: We plan to host regular gatherings, workshops, and meetups to bring neighbors together.
Friendly neighbors: We are surrounded by local businesses and artisans, creating a lively and supportive environment.
Improved services: With upgraded facilities, we can offer private space rentals, parties and more!
The Journey to Our New Location
Moving a business is never simple, but the process has been incredibly rewarding. From scouting the perfect spot to designing the interior, every step has been guided by the goal of creating a space that feels like home.
Some highlights from the journey:
Finding the right location: We wanted a spot that was accessible, vibrant, and connected to the community. Waterloo checked all those boxes.
Team effort: A special shout out to our DM Kory for being a great help in locating this space. He is local to Kitchener and went there first to meet with the landlord and report his findings. He immediately saw what the space could be and the rest of the staff shared that view as soon as we saw it.
This move is a fresh start for KW that builds on our history while opening doors to new possibilities.
Looking Ahead: What’s Next for the Goblets & Goblins Gathering Hall in Waterloo
This move marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter. We have many plans to grow and deepen our community ties, including:
Launching new service offerings including an In Person Minecraft Club
Partnerships with neighbouring businesses
Easy space rentals for small group events like parties, games nights, etc
Whimsical and theatrical events like murder mystery games, Werewolf etc.
As always we are continuously improving! We hope any interested person in Kitchener / Waterloo / Cambridge or anywhere nearby has a chance to, at a minimum, come by during and Open House and see the new space. We are very proud of what we are building and we are sure you will enjoy it too!
